Function Description:

The REMEMBERFOLDERS system variable is used to control the default path displaying in the standard file selection dialog box.

System Variable Value:

0: when starting program by double-clicking icon, if specified start path, this path will be used as default path in all standard file selection dialog box.
1: the last used path will be used as default path in each standard file selection dialog box
