Function Description:

This command is used to clip a selected image by a specified boundary. The clipping boundary determines the portion of a raster image that is hidden, either outside or inside the boundary. Users can use the IMAGEFRAME system variable to control the visibility of the clipping boundary and specify the boundary in a plane parallel to the image object.

Command Prompts:

Select image to clip:
Enter image clipping option [ON/OFF/Delete/New boundary] \<New>:

ON

Turns on the IMAGECLIP and displays the image that clipped to the previously defined boundary.

OFF

Turns off the IMAGECLIP and displays the entire image and frame. If the IMAGECLIP is in OFF states, even the clipping boundary is invisible, it is automatically turned on and you are prompted to delete the old boundary when clipping image again.

Delete

Removes a predefined clipping boundary and redisplays the entire original image.

New Boundary

Defines a rectangular or polygonal clipping boundary or create a polygonal clipping boundary from a polyline.
Note: Users must delete the old boundary firstly and then create a new clipping boundary for a selected IMAGE underlay.

Select polyline: Defines a boundary by the selected polyline, it can be open but must consist of straight line segments and without self-intersection.
Polygon: Defines a polygonal clipping boundary by selecting three or more vertices of a polygon.
Rectangular: Defines a rectangular boundary by the specified corner points.
Invert clip: Inverts the mode of the clipping boundary, users can clip objects inside or outside of the boundary.
