Raster images consist of a rectangular grid of small squares or dots known as pixels. Raster images can be added in a drawing by inserting image files or pasting as OLE. Raster images can be copied, moved, and support the follow formats: BMP (.bmp, .dib, .rle) CALS-I(.gp4, .mil, .rst, .cg4, .cal) JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg) PCX (.pcx) PNG (.png) TIFF (.tif or .tiff)
Attach and Detach Raster Images
A raster image file can be attached and detached to a drawing file. Once an image is detached, all instances of the image are removed from the drawing.
Show and Hide Raster Image Boundaries
You can control whether the clipping boundaries of a raster image are displayed or hidden by performing the command IMAGEFRAME and setting up the values 1 or 2.
Clip Raster Images
If you want to display only parts of images, you can clip the images by IMAGECLIP with polygonal, rectangular or closed polyline.
Change Raster Image Brightness, Contrast and Fade
You can change several display properties of raster images, such as brightness, contrast, fade and transparency.
