To Create a Chamfer Defined by a Length and an Angle

1. Click Modify > Chamfer on the main menu.
2. Enter A at the command prompt.
3. Specify the chamfer length on the first line.
4. Specify a chamfer angle from the first line.
5. Enter E (mEthod) and then enter A (Angle).
6. Select the first line.
7. Select the second line or shift-select to apply corner. Note: If the second line segment selected isn't adjacent to the first line segment, the line segments between the selected segments are removed and replaced with the chamfer.

To Create a Chamfer Defined by Two Distances

1. Click Modify > Chamfer on the main menu.
2. Enter D at the command prompt.
3. Specify the first chamfer distance.
4. Specify the second chamfer distance.
5. Select the first line.
6. Select the second line or shift-select to apply corner.

To Chamfer All Line Segments in a 2D Polyline

1. Click Modify > Chamfer on the main menu.
2. Enter P (Polyline) at the command prompt.
3. Select a 2D polyline or enter an option that defines the size of the chamfer.
4. If you enter an option, provide the value for the option and then select a 2D polyline.
