If a drawing file is damaged, you can recover some or all of the data by using commands to find and correct errors.
Repair and Recovery
If the program detects corrupted data, the respective drawing file will be marked as damaged. Or you can request that the drawing will be saved after a program failure. Sometimes a drawing can be repaired by simply opening it, if the damage is minor. In other cases you have the following options to choose from:
