An entire drawing can be attached to the current drawing as a referenced drawing (xref). Changes made to these xrefs, will be visible in the current drawing.
Attach and Detach
External Reference
A number of functions can be applied to referenced drawing (xref) files, like
attaching, detaching and setting paths.
Update Referenced Drawings
Referenced drawings (xrefs) can also be updated.
Edit Referenced Drawings
You can edit referenced drawings in two different ways, you can open them directly or you can edit the xref in-place within the current drawing.
Bind
External References to Drawings
You can bind external references into
the current drawing.
